Men’s Soccer Drops Road Tilt at Maine Farmington

Farmington, ME – Host Maine Farmington scored a pair of second-half goals to earn a 2-0 win v. the SUNY Canton men's soccer team in North Atlantic Conference (NAC) action on Saturday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
  • Both teams registered a pair of shots on goal in the opening half but neither team could find the back of the net. Alex Kenmogne and Pedro DeSouza recorded the shots on goal for the Roos.
  • Maine Farmington got the scoring started early in the 59th minute when Jon Randolph found Hunter Michaud for his third goal of the season.
  • Andrew Longhurst added an insurance marker for the Beavers in the 77th minute.
  • Shayne O'Neill nearly got one back for the Roos in the 89th minute on a loose ball at the top of the box but his shot sailed just high.
  • Dawson Pellerin made three stops in net for the Roos, while Jonah Sautter turned aside three shots for the Beavers.
 
WHAT'S NEXT
The Roos are back in non-league action on Tuesday when they host Plattsburgh State at 6 p.m.
