Brooke Susac was outstanding throughout stopping a SUNY Canton women's hockey program record 54 shots, but Endicott College scored twice in a span of 76 seconds late in the third period to force overtime and earned a 4-3 victory on Sunday evening in the WSYB/Catamount Radio Invitational championship game.
The Roos previous program record for saves in a single-game came in the team's inaugural season when both Alyssa Altschuler (10/27/12) and Victoria Taylor (11/18/12) stopped 52 shots. Susac's previous career-high of 43 saves also came against Endicott on January 27, 2017.

Noelle Niemiec were all named to the All-Tournament Team. Canton defeated host Castleton in the first semifinal, 4-3 in overtime, on Saturday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Whitney Bernier got the Roos on the board first at 14:08 of the opening period Hannah Brady skated the puck into the zone to the goaltender's left and played a pass out in front to Bernier who beat Alyssa Peterson glove side. The goal was the first of the season for Bernier.
- Lily Cullen made it 2-0 Canton at 18:21 of the opening period on her fourth goal of the season. Micayla Macintyre dumped the puck deep and Cullen finished it off with Ashley Gillies also earning a helper on the play.
- Endicott got one back just three seconds before intermission off the stick of Alexa Pretkelis. Brooke Susac had a monster first period making 16 saves and despite Canton getting outshot 17-4 the Roos held a one goal lead after one.
- Kelly Leathem regained the Roos two goal advantage at 2:17 of the middle period when she kept the puck in on a Gulls clearance attempt and scored far out from the left side near the blue line.
- Endicott scored twice within a span of 76 seconds to knot the game at 3-3. With 4:02 remaining Michaela McNamara put home a rebound after a Lexi Klein shot was stopped by Susac following the conclusion of a Gulls power play. Lauren Ferraiuolo scored on a drive from the left side with 2:46 remaining to force overtime.
- Fifty-nine seconds into the extra session Klein completed the Gulls comeback
- Susac's 54 saves were 11 more than her previous career-best. Alyssa Peterson made 16 stops for the Gulls.

The Roos are back in action on Friday when they host New England College in non-conference action in the Roos House at 4 p.m.
