Mouhammed Thiam stopped three shots but an early goal in the seventh minute proved to be the difference maker as NVU-Johnson earned a 1-0 victory v. the SUNY Canton men's soccer team in the regular season finale for both teams on Tuesday.
Robert Buonanno scored his sixth goal of the season six minutes and 30 seconds into the contest for the victory.
The Badgers improve to 10-6-0 overall and 4-3-0 in North Atlantic Conference (NAC) action, while the Roos drop to 7-9-2 and 4-3-0.
Thiam made three stops for the Roos, while Gerrit Lane made two saves for Johnson and the defense stopped a pair of shots.
