Kulczycki Scores First of Season in 2-1 Road Loss at Cortland

Canton, NY – Kasey Kulczycki scored his first goal of the season and the Roos outshot the Red Dragons 32-18 but host SUNY Cortland earned a 2-1 win on Saturday afternoon.
 
Nico Gonzalez and Andrew McCann scored first and second period goals to give Cortland (8-11-0) a 2-0 lead after two. Kulczycki got the Roos (6-13-2) within one at 8:12 of the third period off passes from Tyler Bullard and Dylan Rosen.
 
The Roos pulled the goalie with 58 seconds remaining and got one shot on goal from Ben Beasley but Cortland held on for the win.
 
Austin Washkurak made 16 saves for Canton, while Drew Weigman turned aside 31 shots for the Red Dragons.
