Rochester, NY – Junior
Adrian Williams scored a game-high 19 points but the SUNY Canton men's basketball team fell 84-51 to No. 16 nationally-ranked University of Rochester in the opening game of the UR/Holiday Inn Rochester Downtown Basketball Tournament on Saturday.

The Roos (0-4) will square off with Keuka College on Sunday at 1 p.m. in the consolation game, while Rochester (3-1) takes on Stockton in the championship game at 3 p.m.

Williams paced all players with 19 points including hitting three of his six attempts from long distance.
Jordan Stewart added 11 points on 5-for-9 shooting, while
Danny Santana chipped in eight points and four assists.
Joseph Werner hauled down a game-high nine rebounds.

Tucker Knox led three Rochester players in double figures with 18 points and eight rebounds, while Ryan Clamage (15) and Andrew Lundstrom (13) also recorded double digits.

SUNY Canton led early after an
Ibu Smith on the team's first possession but it was all Rochester from there as they opened a 38-22 lead at intermission.

The Yellowjackets shot 48 percent from the field and held a 49-28 advantage in rebounding as well as a 32-15 edge in points off the bench.
