Canton, NY – Jenifer Morgan-Aubin tied a game-high with 16 points as strong second quarter led the women's basketball team to a 51-44 victory against Albany College of Pharmacy on Friday in the Roos House.

The Roos (4-12) held an early 8-6 lead after six minutes of play but held the visiting Panthers to just nine points the final 17:05 of play in the opening half. Canton took a 27-15 lead into intermission. Sade Rogers paced the offense with seven points and six rebounds, while Randi Conway and Allison Fink tallied six points apiece.

The Panthers (5-6) cut the Roos lead in half outscoring the hosts 16-10 in the third quarter. Canton bounced back edging ACPHS 14-13 over the final 10 minutes to hang on for the 51-44 victory.

Morgan-Aubin finished with 16 points and eight rebounds, while Conway and Fink totaled eight points apiece.

Dannie Griffin led the Panthers with 16 points and 11 rebounds, while Emma Webster added nine points. The Roos turned 23 Panther turnovers into 19 points, and held the upper hand in bench points, 16-5.
