Plattsburgh, NY – Host Plattsburgh State scored twice in the first 21 minutes to earn a 4-2 victory on Saturday at Stafford Arena.
 
After Cardinal goals from Brandon O'Quinn and Schuyler Seyfert, Joey Vocino (Pickering, ON) fed Kyle Matsumoto (Walnut, CA) for his first goal of the season to get the Roos within one.
 
At 5:57 of the middle period Joe Drabin scored his first goal of the season to regain the two goal advantage for Plattsburgh. O'Quinn added his second of the night before Vocino found the back of the net for the first time off passes from Josh Sova (Oswego, NY) and Vili-Jesper Koivula (Pinsio, Finland).
 
Michael Cerasuolo (Montreal, QC) made 32 saves for the Roos, while Brady Rouleau made 19 stops for the Cardinals.
 
The men's hockey team returns to action on Friday when it hosts SUNY Geneseo at 7 p.m. in the Roos House.
