Box Score 2 Potsdam, NY – The SUNY Canton women's volleyball team continued its winning ways as the only team to go a perfect 4-0 at the Victory Promotions Invitational as they swept a pair of matches against Cegep Heritage College (CHC) and Utica College on Saturday.
The Roos defeated Canadian CHC 3-0 (25-15, 25-23, 27-25) before sweeping the Pioneers (25-17, 25-12, 25-16). Due to Cegep Heritage being a Canadian institution the match will serve as an exhibition and statistics and the victory will not count towards the Roos season totals.
Due to their successes in this weekend's tournament
Morgan Bills (Walworth, NY) was named the Tournament MVP, while
Kelsy Cornish (Honeoye, NY) was named to the All-Tournament Team.
