The hosts used two goals just 21 seconds apart to open up a two goal advantage late in the first period. Laura Drew lit the lamp off a pass from Josie Fletcher and just seconds later Sydney Carlucci was the recipient of an Abbie Adams pass. The Red Dragons led 2-0 after one.
