Buffalo, NY – Sydney Kinder (New York, NY) found the back of the net just 24 seconds into the contest to give the women's ice hockey team an early lead but host Buffalo State responded with four unanswered goals en route to a 4-1 victory on Friday evening.

Neither team would find the back of the net the remainder of the game despite eight penalties in the final frame. The teams combined to go 0-for-11 on the power play in the contest.
