Roos Round out Weekend with Road Tilt at Neumann

Aston, PA – Spencer Landry (New Hartford, NY) stopped 46 shots but the offense was held scoreless as the SUNY Canton men's hockey team closed out the weekend with a 6-0 loss on the road at Neumann University.
 
The Knights scored twice in the opening period, including once on the power play to lead 2-0 after one. Ryan Luiten scored the next two goals of the game, one 14 seconds into the second, and the other with 2:01 left in the third. CJ Cruz added a late tally with 1:12 remaining for the 6-0 final.
 
Landry's 46 saves tie the second highest total of his career, while Ben Curley made 14 saves for Neumann. Thomas Crabtree (Knoxville, TN) paced the Roos in shots with three on target.
 
The Knights were 2-for-8 with the skater advantage, while SUNY Canton was 0-for-5. The men's ice hockey team returns to the ice Saturday when it hosts Curry College at 1:00 p.m.
