Pittsburgh, PA – Margaret Troiano (Morristown, NY) and Bineh Garrow (Akwesasne, NY) scored their first collegiate goals as the SUNY Canton women's ice hockey team dropped a 9-2 decision to host Chatham University on Sunday.

The Cougars got on the board first at the 5:28 mark when Erika Martin beat Becca Kieffer (Lee Center, NY). Troiano knotted the game at one on an unassisted marker at the 12:58 mark.

Chatham used three straight scores including one on the power play to open up a 4-1 advantage early in the second. Tia Mitchell (Akwesasne, NY) and Grace Lyon (Brasher Falls, NY) were credited with assists on the play.
