Zach Paisley (Yonkers, NY) scored two power play goals on the evening and J.R. Lafferty (Williamstown, NJ) picked up his eighth and ninth assists of the season. Special teams played a big role in the contest as the teams went a combined 4-for-9 with the extra skater.

Morrisville (4-9-2) used two power play markers nine minutes apart to open up a 2-0 lead after the first. Joe Santino netted his third score of the year at the 9:51 mark and Jordan Carvalho followed that up with a tally of his own with just 1:36 to play in the period.

After playing a majority of the second frame scoreless, the Roos (3-12-2) seized the momentum as Paisley netted his second score of the season at the 18:48 mark off a pass from Lafferty. Zach Baker made it 3-1 Morrisville on his third of the season just 1:29 into the third. Paisley scored his second power play tally of the game at the 7:42 mark off passes from Sam McLaughlin (Ottawa, ON) and Kristian Leach (Indianapolis, IN).
