(Paul Smiths, N.Y.)- The SUNY Canton women's volleyball team swept Paul Smith's College 3-0 Monday night to earn their first win of the season and give first-year head coach Carol LaMarche her first win with the Roos.

SUNY Canton won 25-6, 25-7 and 25-17 to earn the sweep on the Bobcats home floor.  Mackenzie Mynter (Churchville, N.Y.) distributed 18 assists for the Roos (1-3).  Heather Lottie (Canton, N.Y.)  contributed eight kills and Jessica Reynolds (Oakville, Ontario) supplied six aces for the Roos.

“This was a terrific team effort,” said LaMarche.  “Everyone just played great and it was a good way to get ready for our trip to Maine this weekend.”

The Roos will travel to northern Maine this weekend for tri-matches at the University of Maine at Presque Isle on Friday and the University of Maine at Fort Kent on Saturday.
