(Clinton, N.Y.)- The SUNY Canton women's volleyball team competed in day two of the Hamilton College Invitational with matches against the Sage Colleges and the host Continentals.

The Roos dropped both matches losing 3-1 in the morning and in the afternoon.  Against Sage the Roos fell 24-26, 25-22, 17-25, and 14-25 and against Hamilton they lost 18-25, 25-21, 18-25, 12-25.

Freshman Mackenzie Mynter (Churchville, N.Y.) continued her outstanding play as she passed out 28 assists in each match and finished the tournament with 102 assists in four matches.

Caitlin Grimshaw (Adams, N.Y.) recorded 11 digs against Sage and then had two aces against Hamilton.  Jessica Reynolds (Oakville, Ontario) had 25 kills on the day and Abbey Shoen (Waddington, N.Y.) added 10 kills against the Continentals.

The Roos will travel to Paul Smith's College on Monday, Sept. 5 for a 6:30 match.
