(Fort Kent, Maine)- The SUNY Canton men's basketball team completed their grueling three-game swing through Maine with a 100-75 loss to the University of Maine at Fort Kent Saturday afternoon.  The Roos lost their third straight game falling to 1-4 in the Sunrise Conference and 3-12 overall.

Carlton Mitchell (Bronx, N.Y.) buried five 3-pointers and scored a team-high 19 points for SUNY Canton.  Tony Valentin (Perth Amboy, N.J.) had two triples and 17 points, six rebounds and three assists and Deric Alston (Jacksonville, N.Y.) contributed eight points, six assists and four rebounds.

Jimmy Lopez drilled six 3-pointers and had 20 points leading six Bengals in double figures.  Alan Campbell and Jeremy Thomas each scored 16 points apiece for Fort Kent.
