Andzel scored the game-winner 1 minute and 44 seconds into OT in a 1-0 win for the Roos at No. 2 nationally-ranked Adrian on Friday. Skating 3-on-3 in the extra session the Roos skating into their offensive zone 2-on-1. Andzel stopped and wristed a shot into the top left corner for the win. The victory was the highest ranked win for any SUNY Canton team in school history since joining Division III and just the second ranked victory for the Roos in women’s hockey program history. The Roos earned their first win against a ranked opponent last season when they defeated No. 13 Cortland 2-1 in OT on December 6th. She finished with a +1 on-ice rating on the weekend as the Roos split the weekend series with the Bulldogs.
