Johnson Jr. averaged 24.3 points, 13.0 rebounds, 3.3 assists, 3.0 steals and 2.3 blocks per game shooting nearly 53% from the field in three SUNYAC games last week for the Roos. He opened the week with 17 points, 12 rebounds, four steals, three blocks and three assists shooting 7-for-14 from the field in an 89-76 win against New Paltz on Tuesday. He exploded for 36 points, 18 rebounds, five assists and four steals shooting 14-for-25 from the field in a last second 85-83 loss at Fredonia on Friday. The 14 made field goals were the most for a Canton player in the D-III era and the 36 points were the second most. On Saturday he closed out the week with 20 points, nine rebounds, three blocks and two assists shooting 8-for-16 from the field in another last minute 79-74 loss at Buffalo State. Johnson Jr.'s ranks first in the SUNYAC in rebounds per game (12.4), second in steals per game (2.4), second in blocks per game (1.8) and third in points per game (18.9).
