Schoner recorded two goals and an assist in a 5-4 overtime loss at Hamilton College (2-0) on Saturday evening. The rookie gave Canton a 3-2 lead at 4:39 of the third period, their third consecutive score in the game after trailing 2-0. The Continentals tied the game at 3-3 with 4:16 remaining and Schoner responded giving the Roos a 4-3 lead with 2:09 left to play. Hamilton ultimately tied the game in the final minute with the extra attacker before winning in OT but Schoner was key to the Roos comeback. He also had the primary assist on Canton’s first goal of the game in the second period.
