Szlamczynski earned medalist honors and also had a second place finish over three events last week for the Roos. He opened the week finishing in first place out of 41 golfers at the SUNY Poly Invitational after shooting a round of 4-over par 74. He shot 2-over on the front and back nine to earn medalist honors. On Friday he carded a round of 81 to tie for seventh place at the Wells College classic. Szlamczynski closed out his week tying for second out of 64 golfers at the two-day 36-hole Oswego State Fall Invitational. He led after the opening round with a 1-under 70 and tallied a 7-over 78 on Sunday to tie for second place just one shot off of medalist honors. On the week the Roos finished second out of seven teams at Poly, first out of three teams at Wells and seventh out of 12 teams at Oswego.
