Mclear recorded career and game-highs of five goals and five points in a 13-8 SUNYAC loss to Plattsburgh on Saturday. He scored the first two goals of the game in just over a two minute span. The sophomore then added a man-up goal in the second quarter to get Canton within one. He scored the team’s lone goal of the third quarter and added his fifth goal of the game with 3:29 left in the contest. Overall, Mclear scored nearly 63% of the team’s goals in the contest.
