Marion posted a fourth place finish out of 54 golfers at the two-day, 36-hole St. Lawrence Invitational on Saturday and Sunday at Oliver D. Appleton Golf Course in Canton. The sophomore finished with a 4-over par 76 on Saturday and improved by one stroke shooting a 75 on Sunday. He tied with two other players for fourth place and shot 7-over par for the tournament trailing the medalist from St. John Fisher (-2) by just nine strokes. Earlier in the weekend Marion shot a round of 10-over par 82 to finish in 13th place out of 30 golfers at the VTSU-Johnson Invitational.
