Pelton had a big weekend totaling eight goals, an assist, a game-winning goal and two caused turnovers leading the Roos to a pair of NAC road wins as they now sit alone in first place in the conference standings. She opened the weekend with two goals going 2-for-2 on free-position shots and added an assist in a 15-14 road win at Husson (6-4) on Saturday. Her goal with 8:55 remaining proved to be the game-winner in a one-goal game. On Sunday Pelton had her best game in a Roo uniform doubling her previous career-high for goals in a game scoring six times on six shots on goal and added a pair of caused turnovers and a ground ball in a 21-13 win at Maine Maritime (8-3). Five of her six goals came in the first half as the Roos built a 10-5 lead and she had four in the second quarter alone where the Roos outscored MMA 8-1, which ultimately decided the game.
