Emmerton had a hand in both of the Roos goals in a 2-0 win against Morrisville on Senior Day on Saturday at Maxcy Arena. The junior assistant captain scored the eventual game-winner just 3:21 into the game and added an assist on an insurance goal 36 seconds into the third period. The 14 wins by the Roos tie a program record set by the 2016-17 team and their eight conference wins are their most since they joined the Northeast Women’s Hockey League (NEWHL) in the 2019-20 season. The 7 conference wins are the most they have had in a conference in program history as they previously had seven conference wins on three occasions (2021-22, 2016-17, 2015-16).
