Cruz averaged 1.91 kills and 3.73 digs per set over three matches last week for the Roos. She opened the week with eight kills and a match-best 17 digs in a 3-1 loss at St. Lawrence (9-4) on Tuesday. Cruz followed that up with 11 kills, 11 digs and three blocks hitting .304 (11-4-23) in a 3-1 win at SUNY Poly on Saturday. She closed out the week with a match-high 13 digs to go with two kills in a 3-0 loss to Hilbert (12-6) on Saturday. The rookie already has 223 digs (3.60/set) and 105 kills (1.69/set) through 18 matches this season.
