Martin had a monster weekend posting five points on three goals and two assists in a weekend sweep of Anna Maria College. The senior opened the weekend having a hand in all four goals in a 4-3 win on Friday night. He got Canton out to a 2-0 lead with a first period power play goal and second period shorthanded tally. After the Amcats tied things up later in the second period Martin had the primary assist on the game-winning goal and added a secondary assist on an empty netter. On Saturday he scored with 20 seconds left in the second period on a redirect at the far post to help get the team out to a 3-0 lead. With his five points on the weekend he has nearly doubled his point total for the season (13).
