Hopkins had a big weekend in net for the Roos stopping 53 of the 56 shots he faced (.946 save %) helping Canton earn a pair of wins v. Anna Maria College on Alumni Weekend. He opened the weekend with 32 saves on 34 shots (.941 save %) in a 4-2 win on Friday as he combined to stop 23 shots over the final two periods. On Saturday the rookie stopped 21 of the 22 shots he faced (.955 save %) over nearly 45 minutes of action getting the Roos out to a 3-1 lead prior to exiting due to injury in an eventual 4-3 win.
