Jakobsson had a hand in both goals as the men’s hockey team upset No. 6 nationally-ranked SUNY Geneseo in a 2-1 road win Saturday evening. He recorded the primary assist on the Roos first power play goal to give the team a 1-0 lead in the first period. Jakobsson netted the game-winner 10:07 into the third period. The win was the first ever for the Roos v. Geneseo and the second highest ranked opponent knocked off by the men’s hockey program. SUNY Canton beat No. 3 Adrian on December 30, 2018.
