Marion had an incredible opening round at the NAC championship posting a 1-under par, 69, the lowest known score in SUNY Canton men’s golf history, and in at least the last 12 years. His round of 1-under was the third lowest score in relation to par in program history. He followed that up with a Sunday round of 79 for a two-day total of 148 to finish in a tie for sixth individually. Marion, who led the field with seven birdies over the two days, was named NAC First Team All-Conference and NAC Rookie of the Year for being the top performing freshman in the field.
