Hess carded a round of 4-over par, 76, to earn medalist honors out of 59 golfers at the Elmira College Fall Invitational. He edged out Oswego's Ryan Fecco and Hobart's Charlie Craig by a single stroke. The senior also helped the Roos capture the team title finishing in first place with 325 strokes out of the 12-team field. SUNY Canton edged both Oswego State (328) and SUNY Delhi ‘A’ (329). It was the Roos first time defeating Delhi since the teams have been competing in the NAC. Hess went out in 40 before coming home in one-under par, 36. He birdied the par 4, 12th hole and the par 4, 17th.
