Thayer posted game-highs of six points and five goals while picking up seven ground balls and causing two turnovers as the Roos earned a 14-3 win v. SUNY Poly in their NAC opener on Saturday. The five goals and seven ground balls are both career-highs for the senior captain. The 43 ground balls in the game are the most for SUNY Canton in eight years and the three goals allowed are the fewest given up in three years.
