Vazquez hit .357 (5-for-14) over five games last week with a double, home run, two runs and two RBI finishing the week with a .400 on-base %. Defensively he recorded a .970 fielding % with 30 putouts and two assists. He had a hit in four of the five games on the week including going 2-for-4 with a double against Plattsburgh on Thursday. In Saturday’s opening game against Oswego he gave the Roos a 2-0 lead hitting his second homer of the season, a two-run bomb to left field. Vazquez finishes the season second on the team in batting average (.352), hits (32), homeruns (2) and RBI (18).
