Best had a monster week posting five points on three goals and two assists as the Roos went 2-1 in three conference games. She opened the week with an assist on the game-winning goal at 7:47 of the third period in a 1-0 win v. Morrisville State. The Canton captain then put the Roos up 2-0 with a goal on Friday at Potsdam before scoring the game-winner 2 minutes and 31 seconds into overtime. Best closed out the weekend with a goal and assist in a 4-2 loss to the Bears.
