In his first appearances of the season Gilbert gave the Roos a big boost off the bench hitting .385 (5-for-13) scoring five runs and driving in three others over six games last week. He also stole a base, recorded a double and drew three walks for a .529 on-base percentage. Gilbert went 2-for-3 with two runs, a double and 2 RBI in a 9-3 road win at SUNY Poly on Friday. He also went 2-for-4 with two runs and an RBI in an 11-6 loss v. Cazenovia on Sunday.
