Carolina was honored as the SUNY Canton Female Student-Athlete of the Year after leading the softball team to their second consecutive Sunrise Conference regular season and tournament championships and a berth in this year’s NAIA national tournament. 

Carolina was the Player of the Year and an all-conference selection after batting .537 with 38 RBIs, 14 doubles, five triples, and three home runs.  She had a .979 fielding percentage at first base.
