Werner had a monster weekend leading the Roos to a NAC sweep v. Maine Presque Isle as he averaged 16.5 points, 14.0 rebounds and 2.0 assists per game while shooting nearly 62 percent from the field. The junior posted game and career-highs of 25 points and 21 rebounds including 11 offensive rebounds to go with two steals in a 77-75 double overtime win v. the Owls on Friday. He went 12-for-19 from the field and the win improved the Roos to 3-0 in OT games this season, all of which have come in league play. Werner followed that up by stuffing the stat sheet with eight points, seven rebounds and team-highs of four assists and two steals in just 21 minutes of action in an 85-67 victory on Saturday.
