Yelvington had a big week posting nine goals and an assist in a 2-0 week for the Roos. He totaled half of Canton’s goals scoring five times including the game-winner with 3 minutes, 39 seconds remaining in a 10-9 road win at SUNY Delhi on Saturday. He also had a team-high five ground balls in the win that locked up the No. 1 seed for the Roos in the upcoming NAC/NECC Tournament as the Roos remain unbeaten at 5-0 in conference play. Earlier in the week the senior tallied game-highs of four goals, five points, six ground balls and two caused turnovers in a 16-6 road win at Alfred State. The Roos outscored the Pioneers 10-1 after intermission as Yelvington had three second-half goals.
