Gillies had a big weekend posting three points on two goals and an assist as the Roos picked up a huge CHC sweep on the road at University of New England, who came into the weekend ranked first in the conference standings. The sophomore scored the game-winner in Canton’s 4-2 win on Saturday to complete the weekend sweep, while also registering the primary assist on the team’s second goal. She also netted the team’s opening goal in last Friday’s 2-1 win. The Roos are now third in the conference standings just one point out of first place after a four point weekend.
