Russell had an exceptional week shooting 1-over par, 73, to earn medalist honors out of a field of 60 golfers at the Keuka College Invitational. He bested the field by two strokes and led the Roos to a first place showing out of the 11-team field with a score of 319. The top five teams in the tournament were all within six strokes.
