Koivula finished the weekend with three goals and one assist including having a hand all three of the Roos scores in a 3-2 win v. SUNY Cortland on Friday. The freshman netted SUNY Canton’s first goal at 14:07 of the second period and tied the game at two on a snipe top shelf at 12:17 of the third period. He also earned an assist on Tyler Bullard’s game-winner with 8.5 seconds remaining. On Saturday he gave the Roos a 2-0 lead at 8:40 of the second on an unassisted tally.
