Preston had a huge game on Saturday night finishing with two scores in the Roos 4-1 win. The sophomore forward scored just his second goal of the season 9:38 into the second period to give SUNY Canton a 1-0 lead. Just 14 seconds later he added his second goal of the game and the eventual game-winner. His performance helped spark the Roos to score four goals in a span of 1:35 en route to the weekend sweep of Assumption College.

The men’s hockey team closes out its season this weekend when it returns home for a pair of contests against Franklin Pierce University. The puck drops at 7:00 p.m. on Friday and 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Roos will celebrate Zach Hamilton Night during Friday’s game.
