Schneider netted the first goal of the season for the men’s hockey team in their season-opener Friday night at home. He found the back of the net for the 29th time in his career 13:12 into the second period to knot the game at one apiece. The Roos would go on to tie the University of New England 2-2 in overtime. The junior also assisted on SUNY Canton’s lone goal in a loss Saturday night to Skidmore College.

The men’s hockey team hits the road for a 7:00 p.m. game Friday at Fredonia State.
