Diabo tallied her first career goal with the Roos just 4:44 into the first period of her very first contest. The unassisted marker gave SUNY Canton a 1-0 lead at the time against Stevenson University. The Roos would eventually fall 4-2 to the hosts. The freshman defender also had three shots on goal and three blocked shots in the game.

The women’s hockey team opens its home slate of the schedule Friday and Saturday against SUNY Cortland. Puck will drop at 7:00 p.m. on Friday and 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
