Nagy proved to be the difference maker for the women’s cross country team on Saturday as she passed a Paul Smith’s runner right before the finish line as the Roos won the Johnson State Invitational by a single point. The sophomore finished 11th overall covering the hilly 5-kilometer course in a time of 26:13. The team title is the first for the team this season and the second in program history.

Both the men’s and women’s cross country teams will hit the trails again this Saturday when they travel to Utica, NY to take part in the Wildcat Invitational hosted by the SUNY Institute of Technology. The women run at 11:00 a.m., while the men take off at 12:00 p.m.
