Kate Thomas-Moody is in her fourth year as head coach of the SUNY Canton women's soccer team.  Thomas-Moody led the Lady Roos to the Sunrise Conference Tournament Finals in her first two seasons (2009 and 2010).  Upon joining the USCAA, the Roos received a pre-season rank of number 5 in the country for the 2011 season.

Thomas-Moody was an assistant coach at SUNY Potsdam for the 2008-2009 season, acting as goalkeeping coach for the Lady Bears.  During that season the Bears captured a school-record 10 wins and earned a berth in the ECAC Upstate Tournament, where they advanced to the semifinals.

At SUNY Canton, she has coached one NAIA National Offensive Player of the Week, several Sunrise Conference Players of the Week, and two USCAA Academic All-Americans.

Prior to her stint at Potsdam State, Kate was a Graduate Assistant at Springfield College (Mass.) where she served as varsity assistant coach, goalkeeping coach, head junior varsity coach, and recruting specialist.

In 2006 Thomas-Moody helped Springfield reach the ECAC New England finals.  The following year the team earned an at-large bid to the NCAA National Tournament, reaching the second round and in 2008 they clinched the NEWMAC regular season and tournament championships, advancing as an automatic qualifier to the NCAA National Tournament.  She had the opportunity to coach numerous Regional and National All-Americans while at Springfield College.

Thomas-Moody also served as assistant coach at Keuka College, where she earned a B.S. in Business Administration with a concentration in Sports Management. She earned a M.Ed. in Sport Management from Springfield College.

In addition to coaching, Thomas-Moody has also interned in the athletic department at Clarkson University, the Southampton Saints Football Club in Southampton, England, and with former U.S. Women's National team coach Tony DiCicco at his SoccerPlus organization. Kate spent six years on staff with Major League Soccer Camps, serving as camp coach and player development officer.
