High School/Previous Team
Sophia played four years of lacrosse at Lake Shore... Her team won the Section 6 championship game her final two years including the team going unbeaten until regionals during her junior season...  She earned the German award her junior year, was a member of the National Honor Societyand ranked number 11 in my class academically... She was also named "Character Athlete of the Game" during her junior year... Sophia played hockey for the Buffalo Regals in the 2013-2015 seasons... Her team won the state championship during the 2013-2014 season losing at nationals.

Born March 6, 1999 she is the daughter of Patricia and Hans Koenig... Sister of Klaudia... Sophia is a Forest Technology major.

What Makes You Unique: I've played percussion since fourth grade
Reason You Chose SUNY Canton: It had a 2 + 2 program with SUNY E.S.F. I thought it would be perfect getting to play hockey for two years while obtaining my general education studies and then I would be able to go to E.S.F. later on to practice my actual major in forestry.
Plans For After Graduation: I would like to possibly become a D.E.C. officer
