Biography
High School/Previous Team
Emily played four years of hockey for la Citadelle and Char-Lan District high women's varsity team... Her freshman year the team medaled in five tournaments... Sophomore year her team made it to SD&G finals and they qualified for and won the FRANCO tournaments in addition to qualifying for provincials... During her junior year she coached the Char-Lan team as they qualified for SD&G finals and won the 2016 OHA Tournament... Her senior year with Char-Lan they won SD&G and qualified for EOSSA where they came in second... The team medaled in two tournaments and Emily received the Sue Hickley award and Brown Fine Food award... Emily also played for the Cornwall Typhoons where they qualified for provincials, finishing fourth in 2009... She played for the Northern Lights AAA (spring team) for three years, where they were champions in six tournaments.
Personal
Born June 8th, 1999 she is the daughter of Lynn and Steve Tourangeau... Sister of Mackenzie Roy... Emily is a Health & Fitness Promotions major with a minor in Psychology.

What Makes You Unique: First female in the family to go on to college to play hockey
Reason You Chose SUNY Canton: As a young girl from Canada, I grew up coming to SUNY Canton to play hockey and watching the women's team play. I always had my mind set on coming here one day and being the one other young girls would come watch and play. I also chose SUNY Canton for their great academic programs.
Plans For After Graduation: My plans for after graduation are to start my own goalie training camps/school in hopes of helping young goalies love the game as much as I do.
