The Potsdam native led the Roos to a program record 14 wins during the 2016-17 season including the team's first Colonial Hockey Conference (CHC) playoff victory in program history. The team saw a pair of players named First Team All-Conference (Tess Adams, Noelle Niemiec), one player earn a Third Team nod (Brooke Susac) and two make the All-Rookie Team (Susac, Sydney Jordan). Fifteen student-athletes were named to the CHC All-Academic Team that season.

The Roos added another pair of 10-win seasons in both the 2017-18 and 2018-19 seasons with the team earning a CHC Semifinal appearance during the 2017-18 campaign.
LaBaff was appointed to the NCAA Division III Women's Ice Hockey Committee on September 1, 2020 and will serve in that role until August 31, 2024.Â

LaBaff led the Roos to eight wins during the 2019-20 season as the team finished the year winning four of their final five games, including a pair of victories (4-3 OT, 3-1) v. SUNY Potsdam to take the season series from the Bears. The 2019-20 season marked the Roos first year in the Northeast Women's Hockey League (NEWHL) with perennial national powerhouse Plattsburgh State who has won seven national championships.Â
In SUNY Canton's first season in the CHC in 2015-16 Adams was named the Co-Rookie of the Year, First Team All-Conference and to the All-Rookie Team, while Niemiec earned Honorable Mention All-Conference accolades.Â
