High School/Previous Team

• Phoenix attended Box Hill Secondary College in Australia before getting a scholarship to go to The Storm King School in New York and then The Newman School in Boston.
• Phoenix was selected to represent her schools in 3x3 Basketball at the SSV State Championships where her team placed 2nd and 4th
• Phoenix played on her schools AFLW team and went to regionals
• Phoenix’s team placed second in the 2023 State Championship and won the Championship Cup. In 2024 her team won the championship in the Victorian College Championship.
• During her club years she won 9 premierships, 5 runners-up, 1 MIP, 1 BTP, 1 Coaches Award and 6 MVPs.
• Ranked among the top three-point shooters in the entire NEPSAC conference during her junior year.
• Phoenix was selected for the State Development Program and, at just 15 years old, earned selection to her club’s youth team, becoming one of the youngest players in the club’s history to achieve this.

Why Did You Choose SUNY Canton: I chose Canton because it gave me the opportunity to continue playing basketball while working toward my career goals. I liked the campus, the people, and the opportunities available to me.
What Do You Like Most About SUNY Canton: I like the people that Canton has brought into my life, who already feel like family in such a short amount of time. I also really like the campus and the dorms at Kennedy.
What do you like most about your sports team/coach at SUNY Canton: I like how welcoming everyone has been and how quickly the team has made me feel at home. We push each other every day at practice, and Coach challenges us to be our best.
