This is Howlett’s first season as the assistant women’s basketball coach with SUNY Canton.
A native of Caledonia, N.Y. Howlett began playing basketball at age seven and moved through the ranks from AAU to high school and college.
In 2005, while a freshman at Roberts Wesleyan College in Rochester, N.Y. her team went to the NAIA National Championship in for the first time in program history.
Howlett transferred to Judson University in Elgin, Illinois for her junior and senior year, where she played soccer. She graduated in 2008 with a degree in communication arts/media studies.
She and her husband Mark have two young daughters: Lillian and Willow.
